It was the symbol of the Salamander, one of the Gonzaga "enterprises", in its reinterpreted logo, to identify the entire line of clothing, stationery, giftware and perfumery: products intended to symbolize Mantua over time, the cradle of the Italian Renaissance and to commemorate an event "historic" for the city, like the great exhibition dedicated to the Gonzaga collection.
With the "Gonzaga" exhibition they have created a rich quality merchandising: a series of products designed and manufactured by important Italian companies, here are some of the main ones:
-The "Daniel" of Milan, an important company of ties and clothing items, known for the high quality of its creations, has produced hand-finished jacquard silk ties, long and short t-shirts, wool pashminas , silk and viscose, Egyptian cotton bandanas, folding and golf-type umbrellas.
-The "Marenghi 1690", historic Mantuan company, which intertwines its events with those of the Gonzaga house, having received the privilege of manufacturing paper directly from Ferdinando Carlo Gonzaga, on January 16, 1690, created a series of articles of stationery of great refinement, as in the tradition of this family that for more than three centuries has handed down the ownership of the paper mill, supplying some of the most important European courts over the past centuries.
-From the ancient essences of the Marchesa Isabella d'Este was synthesized "Isabella, the perfume of her roses", produced by the company "Morris" of Parma, thanks to the studies on the ancient recipes found in Isabella's secret papers. The perfumes and essences (in particular that of damask roses) were among the passions of the Duchess, as were the joys and crystals: the design of the perfume packaging is inspired by one of the crystals in her collection, now owned of the English Crown.
